Microwavable Popcorn Without The Harmful Chemicals

If you’re a health buff, chances are that you know that commercial microwave popcorn is a no-no because of all the additives and preservatives. For microwave popcorn fans out there, sorry, but the taste that you love so much? That buttery, sinful taste? That’s the taste of these chemicals right there.
Never fear though; you can still have the experience and taste of microwave popcorn without the harmful chemicals! Check out the blog below to learn how to make delicious microwave popcorn without the preservatives and additives

Supplies/Ingredients:
- brown paper lunch bag
- 1/4 c. popcorn kernels
- olive oil, sea salt to taste (optional)

If you’re using the oil and salt, combine all your ingredients in a small dish and pour into the paper bag. Or just pour plain kernels into the bag for a light, air popped popcorn!
Then, fold the top over 3 times.  Make your folds thin and fold tightly.  You want to fold over enough to keep the popcorn from popping out, but still leave enough room inside for it to pop well.
Put your bag into the microwave and press the “popcorn” button.  Ta Da!
Seriously ridiculous, right?  In less than 2 and a half minutes, chemical free popcorn!  And, you can eat it right from the bag.  1/4 c of kernels makes a nice single serving.  Heck, make this with some of my single serving hot chocolate and call it a night.
t’s going to have to be a VERY special occasion for me to ever bust out the big popcorn pot again.  Seriously.  This is way too fast, easy and mess free for me to deal with cooking it on the stove.
